STANDARD LIMITED WARRANTY
Terms of Warrantee:
- These terms of warrantee applies only to products by ARCT Inc. purchased in Taiwan. If any shown warrantee period differs from the present terms, the terms provided at the time of purchase shall apply.
- The warrantee period of our products begins at the date of sale from the contracting dealer of ARCT Inc. The date shall be the one noted on the proof of purchase such as receipts. To protect their rights, it is recommended that the consumers keep the receipts.
- The warrantee period length shall be based on that stated on the warrantee tag by our company. The dealers shall be held responsible for warrantees offered or sold by the dealers.
- The beginning date of the warrantee as stated in article 2 applies also for distribution sales and re-sales.
- Warrantee services and after-services will not be provided for products that do not contain a ARCT Inc. warrantee identity tag or a serial number, or when the serial number does not match the item or cannot be read properly.
- Within seven days of the purchase, if any malfunctioning or failure occurs, the consumer can present the product in its original packing, along with parts and proof of purchase, to the retail dealer for exchange to a new one. After the seven-day period, the matter will be dealt with as a case of maintenance.
- When delivering the product for repair, please use original package or appropriate packing (such as cartons, foaming bags or PE packing). If the product is damaged during delivery due to inappropriate packaging, warrantee service will not be provided.
- Warrantee service will not be provided when products are damaged due to the following reasons:
(1) Natural disasters, accidents or personal mishaps.
(2) Usage of the product that violates the indications of the user manuals.
(3) Usage of unauthorized parts.
(4) Usage in environments not adequate for the product.
(5) Disassembling without approval.
(6) Abnormal usage.
(7) Normal wears (Such as scratches to the outside caused by normal usage).
(8) Inappropriate storage, soaking, damage caused by moisture etc.
Parts, packaging and awards that come with the product are not included in the warrantee.
Period of Warrantee:
The Period of Warrantee provided by ARCT Inc. starts from the date of the sale of the products and lasts until the time listed below.
Product 18 months
Accessories 6 months
Exceptions to warrantee:
- Warrantee exception condition: (If any of the following happens, warrantee service will not be provided even within the warrantee period)
- The warrantee identity tag or serial number of our company is broken or not recognizable.
- Natural disasters such as flood, fire, earthquakes or inevitable accidents (such as rat or termite disasters) or damages caused by human.
PS. Damages caused by human are not included in the warrantee.
- Malfunctions or failures caused by dissembling, changing specifications or using parts not original from our company (Ex. Operation not according to user manual such as using DC12v voltage for products designed for DC5V).
- Damages that result from self-performed repairs, or repairs or maintenance performed by workers not authorized by our company.
- Oxidization or corrosion to electronic parts due to moisture to wiring or soaking.
- Other abnormal usage.
- Normal wearing.
Obligations of ARCT Inc.
All products provided by ARCT Inc. are protected during the warrantee period. ARCT Inc. performs the maintenance or change of parts at no extra charge. ARCT Inc. performs maintenance or change of parts with new products, new parts, or rebuilt parts.
All machines have a 90-day period of warrantee after maintenance or change. If the original warrantee period for the machine has not expired before the maintenance or change, the longer between 90 days and the left over period will be counted. All products, parts, electric boards and equipments that are taken off for replacement become property of ARCT Inc.
